A Gourmet Gathering: ‘Culinary Masters 2024’ at Song Bird
Feting our chef of the year, Neil Perry.
Sydney’s bon ton came out last Tuesday night to fete Neil Perry as Robb Report ANZ’s Culinary Master for 2024. Held at Song Bird, Perry’s new Cantonese restaurant in resurgent Double Bay, the annual culinary extravaganza attracted the cream of the city’s titans of industry, VIPs and gourmands.
The ceremony sold out faster than ever before, with 106 revellers filling every last seat in the 2nd floor dining room, replete with its yum-cha-style round tables of 8 and 10 people.
The gourmet gathering made for a glamorous night of red-carpet moments and food-focused partying funded by a roster of prestige sponsors: Gaggenau, Jacob & Co, NAB Private Wealth, Codigo 1530 Tequila, Champagne Lallier and Petaluma Wines.
Below is a sampling of the fabulous folk who had us chirping at Song Bird.
Don’t forget to pick up the December ‘Holiday’ issue of Robb Report ANZ for full coverage from the event. And if you’re interested in attending Culinary Masters 2025 and our other marquee events, please know that as of next year these exclusive experiences will be available for members of Citizen Kanebridge—the new private members’ club being launched by Kanebridge Media, publishers of Robb Report ANZ.
