Step Inside Jacob & Co.’s Record-Breaking Dubai Skyscraper
Apartments in the world’s tallest residential tower are replete with opulent details.
Jacob & Co. and Binghatti have officially opened sales for the new Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co. Residences. Tipped as ‘the crown jewel of Dubai’, the residences are set to break the world record for the highest residential tower. The design of Burj fuses the distinct design codes of the American high jewellery and horology brand with the contemporary architectural identity of the UAE property developer.
Paying homage to the intricately designed creations Jacob & Co. has become known for, the slender ‘hypertower’ takes on a high jewellery aesthetic, capped with diamond-like spires.
“We took inspiration from the complex horological movements that beat in Jacob & Co timepieces and we integrated them into the key elements of the tower,” Muhammad Binghatti, CEO & Head of Architecture of Binghatti previously explained. “The diamond-shaped spires sitting at the peak of the tower are reminiscent of an actual crown, an ornament of unique finesse inspired by the design of Jacob & Co’s finely cut gems.”
Adding an unrivalled sense of grandeur to the Dubai skyline, the residential units, dubbed ‘mansions’ and ‘villas’, within Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co. Residences are now officially on sale, with Binghatti and Jacob & Co. accepting applications from interested clients. The acquisition process is an aptly exclusive one, wherein dedicated client relationship representatives register interest and manage client nomination and sales.
The mansions and villas primarily range in size from quarter-floor to full-floor, with select expansive two-floor penthouses available. Designed to deliver unparalleled luxury, the interiors of the hypertower draw inspiration from Jacob & Co.’s high jewellery and horological creations. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer unimpeded views of the skyline and the Burj Khalifa.
Opulence is promised at every turn, with each mansion and villa crafted from luxurious materials and laden with aesthetically led details; think sliced gem-set bathroom vanities, marble walls and floors, contemporary artwork and sculptural furniture, and crystal chandeliers at every turn. The penthouses and three-bedroom offerings feature their own private infinity pools, while all residents are able to make use of the rooftop and indoor sky pools, as well as other exclusive amenities like a private fitness club, sky gardens, and a spa.
Notably, two of the penthouses are named after Jacob & Co.’s most celebrated timepieces. The Astronomia Sky Penthouse extends across an entire top floor, while the Billionaire Sky Penthouse, the centrepiece of the Burj Binghatti Jacob & Co. Residences, sits on two floors and overlooks the entire Dubai cityscape.
