This Massive 85.9-Metre Superyacht Has 3 Pools and a Touch-and-Go Helipad
And there’s more on ‘Poseidon’ where that came from.
ISA Yachts definitely believes four is a party.
The Italian shipyard has just unveiled the fourth superyacht in its Large Yacht Collection, which it debuted earlier this year for its highly customised vessels in the 79.9-to-89.9-metre range. Named Poseidon, this 85.9-metre stunner has plenty of space and amenities to enjoy onboard.
We think the Greek god of the sea would be rather happy with this vessel, given how connected it is to its surrounding waters. The Enrico Gobbi – TEAM for Design firm, which penned the details for Poseidon’s design inside and out, gave its latest creation a spacious beach club with fold-down side terraces, a bar, a lounge, and a glass-sided whirlpool tub. Though that’s not the only pool onboard: The 85.9-metre vessel has a T-shaped swimming pool on the main deck, with a whirlpool section, too, and a massive pool perched on the upper deck outside the owner’s suite. And should you need even spots to lounge near the water, the wellness area midship is home to two sea-facing balconies, alongside its gym, sauna, steam room, and treatment and massage spaces.

Poseidon also nods to luxe sports cars in its design, thanks to details like side air intakes and its streamlined aluminium superstructure. The sky lounge’s roof mimics a car’s cockpit, with a lounge and a Jacuzzi settled underneath. Moving to the main deck, it offers up a salon with a cinema and dining space, too, while still maintaining that indoor-outdoor connection to the sea beyond. That extends to the upper deck aft, where an indoor lounge leads out to an outdoor space with a dining table built for 14.
Elsewhere onboard, the new vessel has accommodation for either 12 or 14 guests across six or seven cabins, depending on the configuration, with room for 18 crew. The upper deck, meanwhile, is just for the owner’s, with a suite that has a study, a dressing room, and a bathroom with a double sink and shower—and, of course, stunning views of the ocean. Forward onboard sits a touch-and-go helipad, too.

“With 14 ISA superyachts currently under construction, we are strengthening our presence at the very top end of the market, a segment in which we intend to continue investing decisively,” Giuseppe Palumbo, director of ISA’s parent company Palumbo Superyachts, said in a press statement. “The 86-meter Poseidon embodies this direction: a project with a strong personality, developed on a solid engineering foundation, confirming our ability to offer increasingly sophisticated and distinctive custom solutions.”
A pair of MTU 16V4000M63L engines push the yacht to a cruising speed of 14 knots, topping out at 17 knots. As far as range, Poseidon can travel about 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Any toys, as well as a rescue tender, will be housed in the forward garage, while an amidships space will be the home of a tender of up to 9.4 metres.
Poseidon, of course, doesn’t stand alone. It’s joined by its fellow Large Yacht Collection vessels, including Essence, a 82-metre vessel unveiled in September that offers up a touch-and-go-helipad and a glass-bottomed pool. Rounding out the lineup are the Amarcord 82 and Amarcord 86, which splashed onto the scene this summer.
