This Folding TV Is an Ode to Bugatti’s Tourbillon Hypercar
The C Seed Bugatti N1 TV is its own form of art in motion.
In a scene that would stop Indiana Jones in his tracks, the artfully carved encasement rises silently from its horizontal resting position to become the aesthetic pillar of the room. Within 45 seconds, all but the base slowly rotates and expands to disclose its true nature, a five-panel 4K MicroLED monument to form and function—the C Seed Bugatti N1 entertainment system.
Founded in 2009, C Seed initially specialised in large folding outdoor displays—which required four years of development—and eventually found its niche in the superyacht market before exploring indoor applications, which took another two years to become a reality.
The partnership with the marque was born from Bugatti’s residential tower in Dubai and the desire to furnish the predominantly glass enclaves with a branded TV. C Seed provided the obvious solution. “We design high-end furniture that’s integrating itself into interiors and is not blocking any view,” C Seed founder and C.E.O. Alexander Swatek tells Robb Report during a demonstration of the latest N1, priced starting at about AU$350,582.
As with its stylistic muse, the 1342 kW Bugatti Tourbillon hypercar, this TV is all about bleeding-edge engineering. “We work in a precision level of 0.01 millimeters,” notes Swatek, adding that “everything is made out of a full aerospace aluminium block, and we milled out 98 percent.” The enclosure presents Bugatti’s signature “C-line” design cue—prominent on the Tourbillon’s flanks—while many of the exterior treatments and available colours are shared, too.

Perhaps equally impressive as the Tourbillon’s hybrid power train is the N1’s internal architecture, including 12 motors, highly flexible cables within the panels, and what Swatek claims is a “robotic hinge system that has never been done before.” Notably, the aforementioned collection of componentry remains hidden at all times.
Also undetectable is any space between the panels when deployed—owed to the N1’s patented adaptive-gap calibration—as well as unwanted reflection, prevented by a coating that additionally enhances color. Complementing the screen, which can rotate 180 degrees and is available in 110- and 137-inch sizes, are custom planar-magnetic speakers from U.S.-based Wisdom Audio that are also visible only when the television is activated.
Consider it a testament to how versatile the marque’s style language is. “It demonstrates how Bugatti’s DNA can be translated authentically into new product categories—bringing together advanced technology, creative vision, and exceptional craftsmanship in a truly distinctive expression of modern luxury,” says Wiebke Ståhl, managing director at Bugatti International, the French automaker’s licensing and lifestyle division.
After seeing the N1 TV firsthand, we find it strikingly clear that this TV joins the Tourbillon hypercar in blending beauty and engineering.
