Celebrating its Formula 1 success—with two-time world champion Fernando Alonso racking up four podium places in the first five races—in the most fitting way possible, Aston Martin has unveiled an exclusive edition of its powerful SUV, the DBX707.
A release dedicated to the most ardent Formula 1 fans, the exclusive AMR23 Edition DBX707 shares a racing identity with both the AMR23 F1 car it’s named after, as well as this year’s medical cars (sans siren). Giving its most powerful SUV a makeover to match the twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 within, the Aston Martin AMR23 Edition DBX707 was designed by the British marque’s bespoke Q division.
The AMR23 Edition DBX707 sees the sleek, sporty body of the super-SUV adorned with a coat of Podium Green, with the striking hue accented by touches of lime green along the lower parts of the DBX707’s sculpted carbon-fibre body kit. A Q by Aston Martin fender badge and Aston Martin Racing Green brake callipers peeking out from behind the all-black 23-inch wheels ensure there’s no mistaking the AMR23 Edition DBX707’s motorsport pedigree.
The racing aesthetic continues inside the vehicle, with the cabin of the Aston Martin AMR23 Edition DBX707 featuring two-tone upholstery in Onyx Black and Eifel Green, trimmed with lime green contrast stitching. Carbon-fibre and dark satin also feature throughout the cabin, found on the centre console. AMR23 logos emblazoned on the door sills serve as another reminder of Aston Martin’s racing bloodline.
The AMR23 Edition shares the same specs as the standard DBX707, with its twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 producing 520 kW (or 707 PS, hence the moniker) and 899 Nm, taking it from 0-100km/h in a supercar-worthy 3.1 seconds, with a top speed of 311km/h.
The AMR23 Edition DBX707 is now available for pre-order and is priced at approx. $410,210 (before ORC).
