The dream pairing of Barbagallo Watch and H.Moser & Cie has produced an exceptionally rare timepiece that has captured the attention of watch enthusiasts.
Lovingly nicknamed “+8”, the Streamliner Tourbillon by H.Moser & Cie boasts a yellow gold case and a yellow gold rotor and is the only Moser watch dedicated to Australia, celebrating the +8 GMT zone with a stunning emerald at 8 o’clock.
The release marks the second remarkable creation from Barbagallo Watch after the success of the Audemars Piguet +8 offering in 2020.
Crafted by the visionary founder of Barbagallo Watch, Troy Barbagallo, the Streamliner Tourbillon bears similarities to his iconic Audemars. The yellow gold case and integrated bracelet hold special significance for Troy and his home state of Western Australia. The spotlight of this piece is the time zone of his birth city, Perth. Both timepieces are marvellously complex; the Audemars Piguet +8 adorned a perpetual calendar, while this exquisite piece features a tourbillon. H.Moser & Cie is renowned for producing the world’s finest tourbillons, and the intricate complications in both watches exemplify Troy’s longstanding passion for haute horology.
Barbagallo Watch proudly stands as the exclusive Australian partner for H.Moser & Cie. Beyond their flagship watch lounge located in Perth’s CBD, they are expanding to Melbourne’s CBD in the second quarter of 2023 with a magnificent concept store that invites clients to indulge in the world of fine timepieces.
“It’s the subtle details, in-house movements, and premium materials that elevate a watch to the realm of desire,” says Barbagallo. “Recognising a Moser +8 timepiece across the room instantly declares its iconic status.”
Specifications:

Functions:
The tourbillon, placed within the watch to counteract the effects of gravity on its timekeeping accuracy, revolves constantly around a central axis, ensuring flawless precision.

Each Streamliner timepiece undergoes meticulous polishing and satin-finishing, resulting in flawless high-end finishes. The seamless transition between different types of finishes is a testament to the craftsmanship that has become synonymous with the Streamliner collection.
Being a true rarity, only 33 pieces of this masterpiece will be produced in two batches of 16. The first batch is already sold out and will be bestowed upon fortunate investors on Australia Day, preceding the Australian Open Men’s Semi-Finals.
