The fastest Vantage yet.

When it comes to the luxury automotive market, Aston Martin has long contributed to the category of elegant, sophisticated sports cars and grand tourers. Put simply, it creates the world’s most beautiful cars.
Also at the forefront of innovation since 1913, the British marque now adds to its impressive portfolio with the new Aston Martin Vantage—the fastest and most driver-focussed iteration in the famous nameplate’s history.
The latest model of Aston Martin Vantage is positioned as the definitive front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car. Fusing the best of the DB line with previous Vantage iterations, the result is a formidable sports car that is of the same echelon as Aston Martin’s wildly successful debut of the DB12 Coupe and Volante in 2023.
To the Aston Martin design team, the new release embodies the spirit of a hunter on the road (or track). This may surprise some given Aston Martin has always symbolised buttoned-up refinement.
“We talk about this car being a different animal,” explains Aston Martin’s director of design, Miles Nurnberger. “From the minute you’re in it, and you’re on a track, and you see something in front of you, you’ve got it captured.”
“There is a real emphasis on the performance of the brand,” he continues. “Everything about this next-generation Vantage is ultimately performance-driven—that’s the theme that we try and embody in everything we do as designers.”

Launched earlier this year at Aston Martin’s Formula 1 campus at Silverstone (proof of the synergy between Aston Martin’s Formula 1 racing division and its road cars), it’s immediately clear that the new Vantage is as aggressive as Fernando Alonso is on the Formula 1 circuit. From its visual cues, you can see an enhanced front grille, for example, which is 30 percent larger than its predecessor, and a sharp nose that not only points to its design ethos as a hunter but also enhances the car’s aerodynamics. The widened stance and new 21-inch rims also help set the tone for this new iteration.
“At Aston Martin, we often use the word assertive,” adds Nurnberger. “There’s a point that we like to make as a brand that we never want to be comfortable. It’s always about being assertive, and this car represents this sentiment very much.”
Under the hood, the new Vantage offers a 30 percent increase in overall horsepower and 15 percent more torque, powered by its reworked, hand-built, 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that is sourced from Mercedes-AMG, with a top speed of 325km/h. Incredibly, the Vantage is now faster than the DB12.
But this Vantage model is also tailored for connoisseurs, not just petrol heads. Inside, the finishings are as impressive as the outer. The interiors have undergone a significant transformation, with high-definition screens, leather appointments and meticulous craftsmanship elevating the driving experience from the inside out. Just five years ago, a team of five designers would manage the interior design of a model like the Vantage. These days, a team of more than 20 are working on the interiors alone, a testament to Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll’s investment into the brand since taking the wheel in 2020.
The new Aston Martin Vantage further strengthens the marque’s position in the ultra-luxury, performance sports car market, with its next-generation vehicles—including both the Vantage and DB12—representing the very best of this category.
Pricing for the Aston Martin Vantage in Australia is around $410,000 (excluding on-the-road costs). To discover more about the new Aston Martin Vantage, visit astonmartin.com
