All eyes were on Omega this past week.
Between February 12 – 24 the prestige watchmaker auctioned 11 of it OMEGA x Swatch “Mission to Moonshine Gold” watches in complete sets at Sotheby’s in New York. This marked the first time these versions had been offered as a suite and the first time that the special MoonSwatch suitcase was available to purchase.

The 11 Omega Moonwatch collections all sold, with the company admirably donating 100 percent of the $600,000 raised, to their chosen sight charity Orbis.

Orbis fights avoidable blindness and vision loss around the world (much like Fred Hollows in Australia) and through its programs has provided care for millions of patients around the world and trained thousands of eye care professionals in areas with the greatest need.
Omega has supported Orbis since 2011, advancing the organisation’s mission to put eye care within reach of everyone.
At Robb Report we love a good watch, but not nearly as much alleviating misery on such a scale. Bravo, Omega.
