Five years on from the launch of the Tag Heuer Carrera Heuer 02T arrives this new, handsome addition to the tourbillon line in a classic colourway.
Exclusive to just 250 pieces, the latest Carrera Heuer 02T from Tag Heuer is fitted with a blue sunray dial and titanium bracelet which, although is a staple colour combination in watchmaking, is a first for the marque’s tourbillon range.
The new timepiece is fitted with the same calibre as the original Carrera Heuer 02T, which, when originally produced faced the challenges of housing the chronograph functions, self-winding mechanism and flying tourbillon in a calibre with a diameter of 31mm.
The team at La Chaux-de-Fonds have utilised an ultra-light carbon and tourbillon cage centred in the watch with an aforementioned blue sunray dial that extends from the bridge of the tourbillon cage to the ceramic blue polished tachymeter fixed bezel.
The Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T arrives in a 45mm grade 5 titanium case that is water-resistant to 100-metres and is strapped to the wrist with a titanium bracelet.
