As winter settles in, and the days become dark and cold, the daydream of packing your bags and travelling the world increase. And if an escape is on your list for 2019, it’s time to start planning, because luxury resorts Aman have just released their round-the-world expedition for next year.

Offering two choices for your escape, not only are you taken some of the most beautiful places in the world, you’re taken there in your own private jet. Featuring four lounges, two restrooms, a shower and two flight attendants, jetlag is a thing of the past as your relax and travel in style in your own private AIRBUS ACJ 318.

With a luxurious multi-week itinerary, the first experience from April 15 to May 6, 2019, will take you to Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Bhutan, India, Greece, Montenegro and Italy.

Up to 16 guests can join the round- the-world expedition, which includes staying exclusively in Aman properties.

See Tokyo and Shanghai from a new perspective, relax on Vietnam and Phuket’s most secluded shores, embrace the majestic landscapes of Bhutan and Rajasthan and explore the historic coastlines of Montenegro and Greece.

While in Vietnam you have the chance to explore Temple Cove, at Ong Thinh Beach, starting your day with a 45-minute hike to one of the area’s best-kept secrets, located within the National Park. The intimate cove features spectacular rock formations and provides a breathtaking view of Amanoi in the distance.

Just one of their many luxurious properties, Aman’s Pavilions and Villas are at one with their magnificent surroundings in the south-east Asian country, with the villas enjoying their own private pools and expansive views.

The first tour ends with a flourish at Aman’s Venice palazzo, and is an unprecedented Grand Tour for the 21st century.

However, if exploring more of Asia in luxury is on your bucket list, Aman is also offering the opportunity to see China, Bhutan, India and Sri Lanka from October 12 to 28.

On your travels you will embark on an incredible journey across cultures, countries and epic landscapes, with up to 16 guests also able to join this private jet expedition.

Take in old and new China in Shanghai and Lijiang; unlock the mystery and majesty of Himalayan Bhutan; experience Rajasthan’s regal splendour and magical wildlife in India; and explore Sri Lanka’s storied fort town and palm-fringed southern coast.

In Sri Lanka you will be able to relax and unwind with a 90-minute treatment at the famed Amangalla spa. Recapturing a bygone ear, the spas feature five serene treatment rooms and two hydrotherapy pools and host a variety of treatments.

There you can experience traditional aromatic massages, classical facials, reflexology, scrubs, and wraps. An ayurvedic doctor is also on hand to diagnose your dosha, and give any lifestyle advice, or heal an ailment.

Itineraries for both journeys also feature a range of activities, including welcome drinks, lunches and dinners, helicopter rides, yacht excursions, full day tours of the cities and private transfers to the airports.

Total cost per person to travel on this luxury expedition start at AU$126,888, or $253,776 total twin share. Single supplement prices begin at $39,983 ($166,871 total per single).
