Australian-born industrial designer Marc Newson has once again collaborated with iconic outfitter R.M. Williams.
For Newson’s second capsule, The Yard Boot 365 sees a contemporary take on the original R.M. Williams Gardener Boot. First introduced in the 1950s – for those working in long grass, dairies or other swampy-meets-sandy conditions. Since then, Yard Boot 365 has been updated for the modern-day with a new colour palette and contrasting cream sole.
The second capsule arrives with soft burgundy Italian leather, grey suede, and dusty ochre suede while the black and walnut greasy kip leather colourways from the first capsule carryover.
True to the label, each pair is handcrafted in R.M. Williams’ South Australian workshop and also feature single-piece leather uppers, an elastic gusset and contrast soles.
The new Yard Boot 365 will be available to purchase in R.M.Williams stores and online from 1st March at $445, until then, the boots are exclusively available on Farfetch.
