TOD’s Unveils New Boutique in Chadstone, Melbourne

Melbourne’s luxury precinct has a brand-new store

By Terry Christodoulou 05/05/2019

On Tuesday last, Italian leather goods and shoe crafters TOD’S launched its new Chadstone boutique, the brand’s biggest in the country, with a cocktail event for celebrities, tastemakers and VIP customers.

Guests were welcomed in the Artisan pop-up, where indeed, a TOD’s artisan flown in from Italy demonstrated the detailed craftmanship of the Gommino shoes and latest TOD’S D-STYLING bag. Guests then moved into the new TOD’s boutique where a live DJ set the tone for the night. Kate Waterhouse, Sarah Ellen, Josh Heuston and Lee Oliviera were among those at the event, naturally kitted out in TOD’s.

The light-filled, 142-square-metre retail space reflects TOD’s global approach and effort to feature unique details emblematic of the host city. The décor of the Chadstone boutique is linear, contemporary and elegant, with silver and taupe saddle-stitched leather panelled steel vitrines featured throughout the store and a high-gloss ceiling with travertine marble floors.

The TOD’S Artisan service includes hot stamp customisation on selected new-purchase items and will be available at TOD’S Westfield store, Sydney from 9-12 May.
