Sleek, speedy sailing hits local waters.

With over 25 years of manufacturing experience and five independent factories producing 12 models, Schaefer Yachts has finally landed in Australian waters.

Thanks to Schaefer Yacht Australia co-founders Andy Young and Mark Johnston, the debut outing saw the V33, 375HT, 510GTS and the 510 GT Flybridge make their debuts at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show,  with promises of the 400 model, to be launched at the Sydney International Boat Show in August.

Beyond what has physically arrived in the country, Schaefer Yachts Australia is offering 12 models that are available to order that can still be delivered in time for summer 2022/23.

Of those on offer, the crowning jewel is the Schaefer 25M, the largest in the Schaefer Yachts fleet. Here, we see the shipyard’s exquisite workmanship come to the fore with a fully customisable interior layout to meet any seafarer’s needs.

Internals aside, the boat can entertain up to 21 people and sleeps 12 overnight guests. Further, the three 1200hp pod engines see the boat easily cruise at an impressively quick 26 knots, with a maximum speed of 34 knots – true to Shaefer’s sporting design coda.

“Personally, Mark and I looked at the platorm that Schaefer Yachts provides, the support and the quality of the build of these beautiful yachts and instantly knew this was something we had to bring back locally for Australians to enjoy says co-founder Andy Young.

Schaefer Yachts is mooring at d’Albora Marina, The Spit Mosman with Coastwide Marine named as the first partner.
