Windcraft Display the Poise and Power of Sailing Yachts at SIBS 2019

Is this the most elegant display at the Sydney International Boat Show?

By Terry Christodoulou 30/07/2019

Once again, Windcraft has put together the largest collection of sailing yachts at the Sydney International Boat Show. Taking pride and place at the marina entrance, the Windcraft showing will display a range of Hanse and Dehler Yachts along with the debut of the impressive Solaris 50.

Hanse yachts has found some spectacular success over the past couple of decades, the self-tacking headsail and hull lines by designers judel.vrolijk & co. are represented by four of the most popular models at this year’s show. The largest of the lot, and making its Australian premier is the Hanse 458 a yacht filled with features for short-handed sailors, making it the ideal choice for our European hand-over service.

Joining Hanse is the Dehler Yachts, Windcraft’s performance brand. The Dehler 46 is on display with a full-carbon rig, which offers breathtaking speed and competitive spirit, but is still ideal for social sailing. The 46 has established a market niche in Australia and New Zealand.

However, the stunning lines of the Solaris 50 make it a difficult vessel to miss. The truly impressive yacht will makes its Australian debut at this year’s boat show, having just arrived in the country. The Solaris brand expresses sheer Italian style mixed with show-stopping performance and is sure to be a crowd favourite over the next few days at the show.

Sydney International Boat Show is on from 1-5 August, click the links for more information.
