When buying a race car for the road, you certainly want it to look the part. Enter, this well-appointed 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 for sale through Pickering Luxury Garage.

This example of motoring finery sees the combination of many racy adornments, including carbon-fibre backed seats and trims, an internal roll cage and a fire-extinguisher combined with the matte charcoal colourway and sporty red decals.

While the additions of downforce creating bodywork — including the readily recognisable rear wing and carbon fibre rear decklid hinges — don’t shy away from the Porsche’s intent, it’s what’s under the hood that impresses. Here, Porsche uprated what was the internals of the 911.1, making the 4.0-litre six-cylinder engine capable of 368kW and 460Nm of torque in the 2018 model.

It’s not the power figures that make the Porsche 911 GT3 such a coveted piece. The engine is capable of screaming to 9000rpm — more than the previous GT3 RS — and rockets the car from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 320km/h.

This particular model sees the power delivered to the rear wheels via a 7-speed automatic PDK gearbox. Inside, the interiors see a combination of the aforementioned carbon-fibre backed seats, black leather and grey Alcantara trim. Tying together the design, the red seatbelt harnesses continue the red and black theme of the exterior.

The example for sale here, through Pickering Luxury Garage, sees only 16,628kms on the odometer and is priced at $389,900.

Pickering Luxury Garage is a state-of-the-art bespoke showroom offering the world’s most exquisite and collectable motorcars and is motivated by its want to transform the prestige ownership experience. With Pickering Luxury Garage, prestige ownership starts here.
