It’s a petrolhead’s dream. A 4.6-kilometre race track that features 17 scintillating turns, high grip asphalt and unparalleled access thanks to Club Moolia’s tightly held private membership program.
While the track is sure to get some engines revving, the founders of Club Moolia, in their research at other motorsports facilities around the world, noted a need for more. Here, the team sought to curate a development that would provide a luxury experience beyond the racetrack — one that extends to all friends and family.
The dreamlike desires of the Club Moolia project has attracted the attention of motorsport revolutionary Bernie Ecclestone.
“It’s the impossible things that turn out to be super – and I think Club Moolia is super,” said Ecclestone when asked about the project.
Ecclestone is noted for shaping modern F1 into the wider lifestyle and entertainment juggernaut it is today – broadening its appeal and seeing the entwined importance of teams, sponsors, exclusivity and VIPs, which led to the creation of the now renowned Paddock Club.
Alongside the track at Club Moolia, located in the township of Bindoon, 80 kilometres north-west of Perth, comes Australia’s first Crystal Lagoons – that is, a Dubai-style watery wonderland. The man-made system is scheduled to be up to 8 feet deep in parts, making kayaking and parasailing viable options. The Crystal Lagoons system is kinder to people and the environment too with it using 100 times fewer chemicals for filtration and 2% of the energy of traditional swimming pools.
Aside from lounging on the man-made beach, there is also a sports facility comprising five immaculate tennis courts that offers performance analysis alongside on-site coaching and personal development programs.
When it’s time to rest, the club lounge sees more than 400sqm of private space with high=speed WiFi access for staying in touch with work commitments. Further, the rooms are adorned with custom-made furniture in the private eating areas, making the venue ideal for intimate dining or special occasions.
The Western Australian location of Club Moolia uniquely positions the country’s first race car country club in the gateway to Southeast Asia and is the ultimate location for overseas visitors to store and manage vehicles through its on-site garaging.
Club Moolia is set to open in 2023, for more information, visit clubmoolia.com
