Each year, Robb Report Australia & New Zealand rounds up the most exciting releases of the past 12 months from the major luxury auto marques. The result is a fleet of cars second to none, and we invite you to experience the best the automotive world has to offer.
The 2019 Robb Report Australia & New Zealand Car of the Year event is fast approaching. To be held over two days, April 9-10, the journey will start with a breakfast at the storied Royal Automobile Club of Australia in Sydney’s Macquarie Street, then wind out of the city on a scenic drive through the Hawkesbury, interrupted only by a stop for a lavish lunch. We’ll finish the day with a five-course dinner and overnight stay at Lilianfels Blue Mountains. Day 2 completes the event with another picturesque drive through more wide open spaces, before finishing with a celebratory lunch at the harbourside View by Sydney.
There are three ways you can be a part of our 2019 Car of the Year event:
1. Get into the driving seat, by applying to join our Judging Panel
With only nine spots in total available, this is the crème de la crème of our Car of the Year experiences. You (accompanied by a guest) will drive each of the nine cars in contention for our Car of the Year awards, provide your feedback and comments to Editor in Chief Michael Stahl to inform our Car of the Year magazine coverage, and enjoy fine dining, luxurious accommodation and great company along the way.
Find out more about the car line-up, the luxury dining and brand experiences that await you, and apply to join here (spaces are very limited and disappearing fast).
2. Purchase a ticket for our Judging Lunch on April 10
Join fellow Robb Report readers and car enthusiasts at our Judging Lunch. Enjoy fine food and wine while checking out the contenders for the 2019 Car of the Year, which will be on display. Be inspired by a special guest speaker, and hear from Robb Report Australia & New Zealand Editor in Chief Michael Stahl and members of our Judging Panel about their experiences in each of the cars and the previous day’s adventure.
Tickets for the Judging Lunch, to be held from 1pm, are $220 a person, and include a gift bag and 12-month subscription to Robb Report Australia & New Zealand magazine. Purchase your ticket here.
3. Follow us on social media and subscribe to the magazine
Can’t make it to the events? There’s no need to miss out on the action – simply follow us on social media, or subscribe to the magazine to see how it all plays out. Our Winter 2019 edition will include full coverage of the event, and crown the 2019 Car of the Year..
