Robb Interview: Lewis Hamilton

The F1 Champion and IWC ambassador explores diversity and his own personal struggles with photographer Misan Harriman.

By Nick Scott 03/06/2021

Following the launch of its new Pilot’s Watch collection in April, IWC Schaffhausen is kicking off a global advertising campaign featuring seven-time FIA Formula One World Drivers’ Champion Lewis Hamilton – an IWC brand ambassador since 2013 and a man on a mission to leave a sport at which he has become best in the world more ethnically inclusive than the one he entered 14 years ago. The campaign’s stunning imagery was shot by British photographer Misan Harriman: a Nigerian-born British entrepreneur, activist and one of the most widely shared photographers of the Black Lives Matter movement.

It’s little wonder Misan Harriman and Lewis Hamilton had so much to talk about over the course of this compelling conversation…
