Following on from the Swiss manufacture’s latest collaboration with Berluti comes Hublot’s latest limited-edition timepiece, the new Hublot Big Bang Unico Bucherer Blue.
Here, the watchmaker has collaborated with fine jewellery professionals Bucherer for its second collaboration piece.
The new watch features a case crafted completely from titanium and blue sapphire and is fitted with a Big Bang Unico skeleton dial that displays a matching blue tint and the inner workings of the highly complex mechanism.
However, it’s that blue sapphire 42mm case that steals the show, offering a level of transparency and radiance in a unique shade of blue, creating a dynamic visual nod to the collaboration
This collaboration also offers a debut for Hublot, marking the first time sapphire has been used in both the bezel and central segment whilst maintaining titanium components that are central to the case construction, providing a unique aesthetic and a first for Hublot.
Further unique additions include the open caseback, laser-etched with the Bucherer Blue logo, while outer engravings signify the limited 10-piece collection.
True to the blue theme, Hublot has added a vibrant matching blue rubber strap, held by a titanium clasp.
Powering the new timepiece is the manufacture’s HUB1280 automatic movement, boasting a 72-hour power reserve and 100-metre water resistance.
The limited-edition timepiece is available exclusively through Bucherer; approx $70,800. Bucherer.com / Hublot.com
