This Whisky Distillery Has Partnered With Vexta Street Artist For a Limited-Edition Release

A collaboration bringing very different worlds together.

By Demi Dalton 08/08/2019

Not all art is visual, sometimes the appreciation of a certain craft comes down to how it can be heard, tasted and touched. Sydney street artist Vexta and Australian-owned Scotch Whisky distillery Pure Scot’s collaboration brings two, very different, art forms together in celebration of their bold demeanours.

The partnership will be brought across the waters to the Scottish Lowlands where the self-taught artist will exhibit a custom art installation in the Bladnoch Distillery to encompass Pure Scot’s values of innovation, progression and positivity. On Thursday 1st of August Vexta will be hosting her first solo exhibition at KSR Art Bar in Melbourne. The ‘Cosmos’ exhibit is a visual exploration and emotional response to the current environmental crisis – a concept that Pure Scot supports.

The final act of the partnership is the launch of a limited-edition release of 200 bottles, the design being based on Vexta’s installation at the distillery. The edition will only be sold in the Distillery’s Visitor Centre at Bladnoch Distillery and via Pure Scot’s online store, you can pre-order here.
