Merivale has launched a new online iteration of its retail experience – the ingeniously titled The Bottle Shop.

Forgo a basic Gris or Pinot with the dominant hospitality group’s master sommeliers Franck Moreau and Adrian Filiuta responsible for curating the new service’s range.

“We believe that life is too short to drink anything but the best drops”, says Moreau. “So now, if you’ve been to a Merivale restaurant and enjoyed a bottle of wine, you can order the same bottle online and reminisce.”

The Bottle Shop tags many of the wines with short descriptions and food pairing to simplify the purchase process. The online offering is much the same with wines being broken up into occasions taking the pressure out buying the perfect bottle.

If individual selection is still too daunting, a curated monthly subscription of handpicked drops is also offered.

The Bottle Shop is only available to Sydney residents.
