Now, Australians can finally get their hands on a bottle of Maison Christian Dior perfumes without having to leave the country.
The fashion house’s perfumery has officially landed Down Under with the opening of its first Maison Christian Dior boutique at Sydney International Airport’s Heinemann Store.
The installation has been carefully designed to fully embrace an elegant Parisian ambience and offer visitors a multisensory experience.

The pop-up boutique, which will be around only for three months, will house all 22 of Maison Christian Dior’s fragrances, along with the brand’s soaps and candles.
The unisex perfumes are designed to be layered and include a range of scents focused on specific notes such as oriental, florals and sensuals.
The managing director of Heinemann Australia, Richard Goodman, said that he and the team at Dior were dedicated to creating a “multisensory, immersive and personalised experience’.

Tuesday’s launch of the pop-up perfumery was followed by a lunch at the Parisian-inspired Paddington restraint Fred’s, which had been decorated with a heady mixture of fragrant pink roses and pastel peonys.
Guests, including socialite Kate Waterhouse, were served glasses of Ruinart champagne, before dining on a variety of dishes including Brandade and smoked potato ravioli with roasted tomato and thyme, and Ile Flottante with rose geranium and quince anglaise with candied rose petals.

The major coup was not lost on the team at Sydney Airport either, with general manager of retail, Glyn Williams, calling the store the “most captivating retail experience”.
“The luxurious concept, sensorial elements and tasteful spaces immerse travellers in the unique Parisian lifestyle,” he said.
