Samsung has today announced pricing and availability on its 2020 QLED 8K range – including its mammoth flagship 85-inch Q950T.
Available in 85, 75 and 65-inches, the Q950T is the pinnacle of the 2020 QLED 8K range, promising greater contrasts, deeper colours and more immersive viewing.
“The Q950T QLED 8K is the marquee television in Samsung’s 2020 range and is the ultimate in our big-screen innovation and design,” explains Hass Mahdi, Director of AV at Samsung Australia. “Entertainment through TV, movies, streaming, gaming and music, brings us together and we’re committed to delivering products, like QLED 8K that enhance our lifestyle in and around the home.”
The ultra-thin form, 8K picture quality – of which Samsung was the first to launch in Australia last year – and impressive surround sound audio is bundled into what Samsung labels an “infinity screen,” offering nearly 99-per cent pure screen-to-body ratio.
It’s not all size without smarts, however, with Samsung’s latest also equipped with AI-enabled Quantum Processor 8K. What’s that mean? Well, it’s clever enough to upscale non-8K content to 8K resolution, transforming whatever you’re watching into the most pristine pictures.
The Samsung QLED 8K range is available from today with the Q950T 85-inch retailing at $21,999.
