The Pièce De Résistance Of The Kitchen
With its hand-built credentials, performance-led design, and monolithic construction, it would be reductive to call the Gaggenau EB 333 ‘just’ an oven.

As the undeniable heart of the home, the kitchen serves as not only a functional necessity, but a place for gathering and respite in equal measure. For those who view cooking as far more than a means to an end, appliances that unite performance with style are essential.
German haute appliance manufacturer Gaggenau has been pushing the boundaries of home appliances since its inception over three centuries ago. A veritable objet d’art among a sea of quotidian home appliances, the Gaggenau EB 333 has been a culinary icon for more than three decades, with its precise engineering, quality craftsmanship, and performance-led ethos appealing to home chefs and design aficionados alike.
In an era where efficiency is all too often prioritised at the cost of quality, the EB 333 remains predominantly hand-constructed to this day. To call it just an oven would be sacrilege; representing the unity of traditional and avant-garde design, the hand-built appliance is defined by clean, unbroken lines.
An elegant yet imposing presence in any kitchen, the recently redesigned EB 333 features a door panel composed of a single sheet of stainless steel, expertly moulded to fit the soft-closing cantilevered door—the latter quality belying its 20kg weight. The five-layer glass pane on the door is designed with optimal insulation in mind, keeping the outside cool while the inside operates at a fiery 300°C.
While Gaggenau is steeped in heritage, when it comes to technology, the German luxury appliance manufacturer is firmly rooted in the present. Delivering a peerless intuitive experience to home chefs, the free-control TFT touch display simplifies even the most arduous culinary adventures. Alternatively, those whose tastes skew more aesthetically classic can opt to add on a set of exclusively designed black rotary knobs, available to purchase as special accessories.
Equipped with no less than 17 heating functions—among them, baking stone, hot air grilling, and dough proving, as well as more conventional settings—the EB 333 allows home chefs to flex their culinary prowess on the regular.
And best of all? After indulging in gustatory delights, you can quite literally incinerate the clean-up process. The pyrolytic system within the EB 333 heats the oven up to 485°C, carbonising leftovers and grease into a fine ash that can easily be scooped up or wiped away. Now, that’s hot.
