Six Senses Fiji, located on idyllic Malolo Island, will open its doors this April, bringing the brand’s hallmark style – sustainable and living in harmony with surroundings; local, yet in tune with the wider world – to the South Pacific. Six Senses Fiji promises to craft an authentically tailored guest experience which will stimulate, energise and revitalise the spirit.
The resort offers two main accommodation options – the multi-bedroom residences, and one- or two-bedroom Pool Villas. Residences, available in configurations of two- to five-bedroom, are a home away from home set amidst lush tropical gardens. With a choice of ocean, beachside and marina panorama views, each residence offers a private pool, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and outdoor spaces designed for relaxation.
The 24 Pool Villas are tucked amongst native Fijian palms, with some enjoying direct access to a protected bay and all-tide swimming in the turquoise lagoon. The villas, which marry contemporary design with Fijian touches such as thatched roofs and carved timber panels, feature essential luxuries such as organically produced beds, outdoor baths and showers, top-range entertainment systems and ‘mix your own’ cocktail bars. Guests also have access to a Fijian guest experience maker, on hand throughout their stay to organise activities and make their stay as comfortable and memorable as possible.
Sustainability is a key part of the Six Senses experience, and Six Senses Fiji will be entirely powered by the largest micro grid in Fiji, utilising Tesla batteries. The resort’s restaurants, Tovolea and Rara Restaurant and Bar, will offer dishes honouring the land and its surroundings, with ingredients sourced locally from farmers and fishing communities, as well as the resort’s garden. One of the most exciting elements will come from the cocktail menu, featuring tonics, shrubs, ales and probiotic drinks made in-house from native Fijian ingredients – combinations making for truly unique (and health-giving) cocktails.
For the adventurers visiting, the resort offers water sports for all skill-sets – from snorkelling or scuba diving on the reef, to chasing the Pacific sunset sailing or surfing at the world-famous Cloudbreak, just a short boat ride from the resort. Guests can complete a day of adventurous discovery by visiting the Six Senses Spa for treatments and classes that go beyond the ordinary, such as singing bowl meditation and aerial yoga. Combined with an intuitive approach and a blend of science and human awareness, services are tailored specifically around the individual for optimal wellness.
Six Senses Fiji is just a stone’s throw away from Australia’s east coast, and has an opening special offer available now. Visit sixsenses.com for more information.
