After 120 years of supplying travellers with stylish luggage, Rimowa has launched Rimowa Eyewear – a permanent collection of modern sunglasses.
The contemporary shades will launch in Australia with the Bridge Collection, boasting three shapes – the Aviator, Square and Pantos – that imprint Rimowa’s identity on to these already iconic silhouettes.
Taking cues from early aviation and pilot essentials, each item is crafted from two pieces of mask overlaid and assembled by pins – echoing the engineering-inspired details of Rimowa’s industrial rivets and seals.

The inaugural spring/summer collection comes after Rimowa’s collaboration with Garrett Leight Sunglasses earlier this year and will be available with either traditional or colour reflective lenses. You’ll also be able to pick from a wide range of frame colours, each available with coordinating luggage.
The Rimowa Bridge collection will start at $500 with $575 for polarised lenses and will be available in store from July 9.
