Locally known as ‘Bond Mansion’, the property would come with a certain set of expectations. As one of Perth’s most iconic properties on the banks of the Swan river, 89 Watkins Road, Dalkeith has hit the market with a price guide of $35 million.

The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom Perth home initially owned by Australian business icon Alan Bond was designed by Geoffrey Summerhayes and later updated by Andrew Boughton to be extended across its six-title estate, boating  270-degree river views and 6404-square-metres.

The home, which now belongs to Perth multi-millionaire Sue Gibson, has a close place in Ray White Cottesloe Mosman Park Owner and Director Jody Fewster’s heart – she is selling the house where she grew up.

“I know the house and the location like the back of my hand and it truly is so special and one-of-a-kind,” says Ms Fewster.

“To have grounds of this scale so close to the city and situated right on the Swan River is unheard of in Perth. Growing up we’d go prawning and collect mussels and the next family to live here will be able to go paddle boarding, boating and jet skiing right out the front of the house,” continues Ms Fewster.

The home is an entertainer’s delight, with a lower level ballroom complete with a stage for a band and catering kitchen is at your disposal. Outside, there is a resort-style swimming pool with a 12-seat swim-up bar and a cabana area.

Add to that a full-size squash court, 21-seat indoor cinema and a sauna, a dedicated billiards room, sauna, a 10,000 bottle-wine cellar and tasting room as well as an underground 12 car garage for all the toys and you’ve got yourself quite the home.

Expressions of interest close on December 2 – to inquire contact Jody Fewster +61 0414 688 988
