It might just be one of the most opulent creations in luxury jeweller Nic Cerrone’s career. A Sydney socialite – whose identity remains unknown – has requested the acclaimed jeweller create a bespoke 18k gold door handle, with diamonds, for her home. The value of the handle comes in at approximately $100,000 and was made in Cerrone’s Sydney workshop by a team of skilled artisans. The jewellery house has been commissioned to design many bespoke pieces over the years, including a $3 million diamond head piece created for former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins to mark the launch of The Championships Doncaster Mile presented by The Star.
