Lewis Hamilton teams up with Tommy Hilfiger on capsule collection

Four-time FIA Formula 1 World Drivers’ Champion Lewis Hamilton and global brand ambassador Lewis Hamilton has turned his talents to design with the release of the first Tommy X Lewis collaborative collection.

The collection is now being offered on its new online platform, tommy.com, launched in Australia and New Zealand in late September.

Tommy Hilfiger has been closely linked with pop culture and sports icons over the decades, becoming one of the first designers in the ’90s to closely tie his designs to celebrities. The label has a longstanding connection to Formula 1, sponsoring the Lotus Formula 1 team from 1991 to 1994, and in 1998, becoming the first non-automotive brand to sponsor Ferrari’s Formula 1 team, including custom designed uniforms created by Tommy Hilfiger himself. Earlier this year, a partnership as the Official Apparel Partner for four-time World Champions Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport was announced, seeing a return for the Tommy Hilfiger logo to the Formula 1 track.

The collection fuses the American brand’s DNA with Lewis Hamilton’s signature street style - speaking to the confident Tommy men of today’s generation. The top-to-toe range includes everything from boots ($299), to beanies ($69.95 to $89.95), and everything in between – jeans ($199 to $250), jackets ($350), and backpacks ($229). Each piece embraces the brand’s sportswear roots and takes inspiration from Hamilton’s personal flair, exuding bold confidence.
