Sydney’s biggest food festival, Sydney Good Food Month returns in October. Now in its 21st year, the festival is bringing some of the biggest names in both the local and international dining scene together for a number of exclusive culinary experiences.
With feature events going on sale Thursday 25 July, the program boasts the likes of Peter Gilmore, Katherine Sabbath, Clayton Wells, Jock Zonfrillo and Monty Koludrovic who will be joining forces with international legends Alain Passard (L’Arpège), Hiroyuko Sato (Hakkoku) and Thomas Frebel (INUA, ex-Noma). These experiences will be held across iconic Sydney restaurants Automata, Icebergs, Hubert, Quay, Mary’s Underground, Otto, Pendolino and QT.

Hiroyuki Sato at Icebergs Dining Room

Hakkoku is on the hardest restaurants to get a reservation for in the world, with only six seats and a wait list of six months. Together with Monty Koludrovic, executive chef of Icebergs Dining Room, chef Hiroyuki Sato of Hakkoku is coming to Bondi Beach, transforming icebergs’ private dining room into the world’s most exclusive sushi bar. With only two sittings of twenty people, the meal is priced at $1000pp.
Alain Passard at Restaurant Hubert

Legendary Parisian chef, Alain Passard of Arpège, currently the eighth best restaurant in the world will be cooking in an exclusive one in a lifetime dinner at the two-hatted Restaurant Hubert. Passard has maintained three Michelin stars since 1996, proving his dedication to the highest forms of cooking, all of which will be on display for $360pp.
Peter Gilmore and Jock Zonfrillo at Quay
Thursday 24 October
Peter Gilmore, culinary stalwart, and Jock Zonfrillo, indigenous ingredient advocate, head chef and owner of Orana have joined forces for a special evening showcasing Australian cuisines and native ingredients. The dinner will take place at the iconic Quay for one night only at $360pp.
